Wash FR gear wrongand it stops being FR.
Softener, bleach, starch, and animal-fat based products all degrade flame-resistant fibres over time. A garment that looks clean may have already lost its protective properties. Every FR garment we handle goes through a protocol that protects the rating, not just the fabric.
No softener — ever
Fabric softener coats fibres and reduces FR effectiveness. It is never used on any FR or safety-rated garment in our facility.
No bleach
Bleach degrades FR fibres. We do not use chlorine bleach or any bleach product on FR or hi-vis garments.
No starch
Starch is flammable and incompatible with FR garments. Not used on any safety workwear.
No animal-fat products
Products containing animal fat are excluded from our FR laundry process — they compromise the flame-resistant properties of the fabric.
Compatible detergents only
We use detergents that are compatible with FR fabric and approved for use on safety workwear. Heavy soil is pre-treated before washing.
Manufacturer specs followed
If your FR garments have a specific manufacturer cleaning protocol, we follow it. Bring us the spec and we'll match it.

“Truly caring business. They saved us from a catastrophe in our wellness clinic when our own machines failed in the Christmas rush — they went completely out of their way to help us in a difficult moment. Don't see that much these days. Truly grateful and highly recommend.”

Commonquestions.
- Yes. We handle FR clothing, FR coveralls, and other flame-resistant workwear. Our process follows the required protocol: no softener, no bleach, no starch, and no products containing animal fat — all of which degrade FR ratings. Washing FR garments incorrectly removes their protective properties. We don't take that risk.
- We do not use softener, bleach, starch, or any products containing animal fat when cleaning FR garments. These substances break down the flame-resistant properties of the fabric. FR garments are washed in a dedicated cycle with compatible detergents only. If your garments have a manufacturer cleaning spec, we'll follow it.
- Yes. We handle coveralls with heavy industrial soiling including grease, oil, and hydrocarbon contamination. Pre-treatment and appropriate wash cycles are used for industrial-grade soil. If you have specific soil types or contamination levels, let us know on your quote and we'll confirm we can handle it.
- Yes. Hi-vis and reflective garments are laundered with processes that preserve retroreflective tape and high-visibility colour properties. These garments should not be washed at excessive temperatures or with chlorine-based products — we follow appropriate care standards.
- We work with construction, trades, marine, oil and gas, manufacturing, warehousing, and automotive businesses across Greater Vancouver. Any operation where workers wear FR, hi-vis, or heavy-duty coveralls and need a reliable laundering partner.
- Your pricing is locked for 12 months — no rate increases mid-contract. There's no long-term commitment after that. No auto-renewing contracts, no minimum-term penalties. If the service works, you stay. If it doesn't, you leave.
